Injection Mold Maintenance Technician Details :
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (06 : 00am to 06 : 00pm)
Work Schedule :
- Rotating shift which means you will work 2 days, be off 2 days, work 3 days.
- You will be required to work every other weekend
Duties :
- Develop operational procedures to be conducted on mold shop and train technicians on the proper maintenance techniques
- Ensure adherence to processes and procedures to comply with safe requirements, guaranteeing mold’s care and quality products
- Review incoming work orders and carefully execute cleaning and maintenance activities on molds
- Diagnose damage on molds and define the proper maintenance to be conducted
- Routinely inspect molds for conformance with operational standards
- Propose internal improvements in processes
- Requisition of tools, equipment and supplies required for operations
- Elaborate and manufacture pieces or parts for molds, machines, stackers as needed on the machinery available (CNC and manual machines)
- Ensure that changes of cavities meet the specifications required by production into the timeframe
- Compile operational records, such as repair and maintenance statistics and testing results
- Do changeovers and mold assessments as needed
- Perform other related duties that contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervisor.
Injection Mold Maintenance Technician Qualifications :
- Previous injection mold experience required
- Must be familiar with GMPs
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Resume is required for this position
- Steel toe boots required for this site
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
