is searching for a talented Youth Clinician on behalf of our client, a highly regarded non-profit organization in San Rafael, CA! This is a permanent, on-site, direct-hire opportunity to join an impactful organization and a mission-driven team!
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- A salary of $80,000 - $84,000, depending on experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct weekly counseling for residents, addressing behavior and psychosocial progress
- Perform Mental Health Assessment within 10 days of UC placement
- Ensure timely completion of required documentation, including case reviews and progress reports
- Establish reunification and behavior management goals within specified time frames
- Respond positively to unforeseen events and crises, engaging with clients, family, sponsors, volunteers, and community leaders
- Familiarize yourself with community resources
- Assist in developing discharge plans and define post-discharge services
- Demonstrate dignity and respect for sponsors or families, following leadership principles
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders
- Actively participate in meetings
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field
- Must be registered with the BBS as an Associate or Licensed
- Experience working with children, youth and families experiencing acute crisis that put the youth in jeopardy of being psychiatrically hospitalized
- Experience working with at risk, disenfranchised and / or minority populations
- Capable of working both independently and in a team environment, effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, including follow-up items
- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, and listen attentively
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
