Sr. Project Manager

Summary of Position Plan, coordinate and oversee the execution of one or more construction projects, to complete this work in the safest manner possible, at the lowest reasonable cost and in compliance with the client's documents and quality requirements.

Must have experience on the GC level, working large commercial projects. Job Responsibilities DutiesMust be responsible for Client needs and ensure understanding in all facetsCommunication and Intelligence of the Client and performing to their needsIndustry KnowledgeID potential issues and resolve themClients goals / needs and objectives are plannedSchedule and budgets developed to meet those goals / needsSchedule and Documentation Processes are followedSubcontractor Pre-qualificationsDevelop scope, Pricing and Performance and ContractsAnticipate, recognize, and negotiate changes from documented scope of work.

Internal and External Project Kick-off MeetingsAttitude of working together with Subcontractors, give and takeCommunication with Project StakeholdersEnsure Drawings and Specifications have minimal deficienciesField Operations - Monitoring and CoordinationSafety - Zero Injury Internal Relationships Must be able to communicate positives, negatives and issues that need to be resolvedMarkets and clients dictate processes and changesProcesses need to be followedJob Experience Requirements -7+ years of experience in construction or related field.

Undergraduate degree in engineering, construction management or related discipline. -Experience working on large Distribution Center construction projects;

At least 2 of the following - Healthcare, Entertainment, Office / Retail, Lodging, Big-Box, Education-Well-developed financial skills including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial statements.

• Effective oral and written communication skills required; strong presentation skills and the ability to present a proposal with competence and confidence required.
• Software skills in Primavera Scheduling OR Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office programs. -Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills and the ability manage multiple, competing priorities.
