Responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating YKHC Prevention activities with village services, hospital services, tribes, and other organizations, as appropriate.
Responsible for supervision of Prevention team members, Grant management, and knowledge of activities and reporting requirements to the State of Alaska, SAMHSA, and other various reporting agencies.
Position Qualifications :
- Experience in cross-cultural setting, preferably with Alaskan Native cultures. Yup'ik speaker preferred.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience providing various behavioral health or direct services performing at a satisfactory level.
- Appropriate state of Alaska licensure required or must be able to obtain within 2 years of hire.
- Computer literacy required.
- Knowledge of local Yupik Culture
