JOB DESCRIPTION

The Training Manager will develop the client's annual training plan to address all facets of personnel training and development.

Key duties include :

  • Instructing approved security officer training upon officer being assigned to site.
  • Providing training for trainers.
  • Meeting with the client's team members to help identify training needs, hear suggestions, and oversee all development programs.
  • Guiding the introduction process, as well as site specific and continuous training program development
  • Being responsible for the preparation of training materials, classroom presentations and site-specific training.
  • Working with the branch management teams to support and assist the Enterprise Accounts Portfolio Manager to identify proper training materials and develop programs.
  • Researching the most recent innovations and continuing to learn the most effective ways to administer training to the physical security team.
  • Recording and updating all training records to ensure compliance with requirements outlined in the contract and assigned training from contract leadership.
  • Monitoring any required local security officer licensing and ensuring all officers are kept up to date and compliant.
  • Developing tests for officers utilizing Post Orders, Standard Operating Procedures, Integrated Contingency Plans, and other related information to evaluate knowledge and performance of officers and close knowledge gaps.
  • Conducting periodic audits of all training records.

General qualifications include :

  • A minimum of three to five years' experience in teaching in the security field or related experience.
  • Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Highly computer literate.
  • Familiar with traditional and modern adult learning styles.
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills.
  • Strategic and creative mindset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Highly knowledgeable in comprehensive security programs.
