Cluster Sales Manager - Midas Hospitality

Midas Hospitality is seeking a Cluster Sales Manager to join our sales team at Midas Hospitality. This person will assist with all aspects of the hotel sales department operations and initiatives, including the ongoing support and maintenance of LNR & National Corporate accounts and group blocks, quarterly action plans and supporting all efforts of the sales departments' programs and marketing strategies.
This position will require some out of town travel. Approximately 15% - 20% of the time.
What You Will Be Doing :
Proactive prospecting identify and contact demand generators in the market, conduct competitive set research to secure new group and local accounts, negotiate rates.
BidClerk, daily reports from properties, etc.
- Respond to leads respond to all incoming sales inquiries.
- Manage the RFP process complete all RFPs sent via brand channels (Hilton and Marriott), create compelling business cases for preferred accounts and collaborate with the hotel's KAD to procure more room nights.
- Account maintenance.
- Book and maintain all room blocks and meeting space.
- BEO's and Group Resumes to be distributed weekly.
- Schedule outside sales presentations during property visits.
- Assist with the creation of marketing collateral to promote hotel offerings.
- Ensure the on-site team is trained to support the hotel's sales efforts.
The Ideal Candidate :
- Exceptional communication and sales skills in order to solicit new business and ensure the satisfaction of current business.
- At least one year of sales experience in a hotel.
- Experience in budgeting and business planning.
- Willingness to complete outside sales calls and cold-calling.
- Previous Marriott or Hilton experience highly preferred.
