In this internship opportunity at Skyworks, you will learn and participate in developing advanced, state-of-the-art RF front-end modules, working with seasoned engineering professionals and collaborating with subject matter experts within Skyworks.

Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following :

- Working with experienced engineers to design / develop multi-chip modules
- Evaluating and optimizing prototypes of multi-chip modules
- Running simulations using design tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, etc.
- Participating and presenting in design reviews
- Performing lab testing using standard RF test equipment
- Trouble-shooting and resolving design or technical issues
- Collaborating with other engineers and technicians
Required Experience and Skills
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) MS or PhD programs
- Commitment to working onsite for 6 months
- Strong desire to learn, grow and make an impact
- Strong career interest in RF / microwave circuits and engineering
- Willing to share knowledge and collaborate with others
- Must have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS
- Hands-on experience in lab using network analyzer and other RF instruments
- Knowledge of transmission-line theory and circuit design
The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.
S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
