Summary
Emphasizing continuous improvement
and adherence to established processes, this position is pivotal for the
efficiency and effectiveness of multiple teams within the Flex
operations.
Essential Functions
Operational Understanding :
- Understand Ops Box structure and metrics, demonstrating proficiency in Ryder TMS systems.
- Evaluate rolling weekly (refreshed daily) metrics tile in Ops Box, making note of outliers, general trends, and follow up items (based on key targets by role)
- Review CI Opportunities between Account GLM and Director while working with CI Engineer. Monitor and prioritize CI Backlog.
Issue Resolution :
- Assign responsible parties to documented misses for investigation and resolution, ensuring timely and effective problem-solving.
- Provide support for escalated customer or driver issues (brought to you by Account Manager GLM, Zone Execution Manager, Flex Field Account Managers)
- Serve as the communication liaison between the Zone Execution Manager and the Account GLM and Director
Standard Work Adherence :
As you interact with your team ensure SOPs (FG / SW) for Asset, CSR, Driver Manager and Planner are the most current version.
Ensure all are working to the current version publicized in FLEX Operations.
- Ensure improvement items are documented and followed up on. Reference each Zone's respective Action Tracker
- Schedule and conduct Layered Audits in OpsBox of Zone Execution Manager(s)
Data Integrity Review :
- Conduct daily reviews with the entire team in the zone to report and correct missing data.
- Confirm the integrity of data functions effectively
Customer and Driver Support :
Provide support for any escalated customer or driver issues, demonstrating a commitment to excellent service.
Team Support and Coaching :
- Offer support and coaching to the team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Review previously added items to zone specific action tracker, making sure they are continually updated to actioned to completion and corrective activity.
Assess tracked items for directional trending and the problem solving is performed, where relevant.

Qualifications
Diploma / GED, Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration / Management, Communication, or Transportation / Logistics, Preferred
5 years or more in Proven experience in Transportation / Logistics industry) in relevant roles, Preferred
7 years or more in Leading and supervising others, Preferred
5 years or more in Profit & Loss responsibility preferred, Preferred
