PDQ Staffing Inc. is seeking experienced and dedicated Machine Operators to join our team in Midlothian. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in machine operation or equivalent expertise.
This role involves operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery to ensure the production of high-quality products.
Rate : $18 - $19 / hr.
Schedule : 5am to 1 : 30pm or 1pm to 9 : 30pm
Position : Machine Operator
Responsibilities :
- Operate, clean, and sanitize machine equipment properly.
- Perform basic machine maintenance under supervision.
- Independently assemble and disassemble machinery.
- Make minor adjustments to ensure effective machine operation.
- Read specifications to determine material requirements and proper machine setup.
- Monitor machine operation to detect product defects, malfunctions, or necessary adjustments.
- Feed products to conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices, and unload wrapped products.
- Fill out daily production reports accurately.
- Clean and sanitize machinery after each run in accordance with GMP guidelines.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
- Follow GMPs and safety rules as outlined by company policy.
- Assist in other production departments as needed.
- Help with yearly inventory tasks.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Machine Operator or equivalent demonstrated skills.
- Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Knowledge of basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and follow product specifications and requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adherence to GMP and safety guidelines.
