POSITION TITLE : Assembly Technician - Machine Operator

Supervised by : Management Team

Supervises : N / A

Status : Full-time, 7 : 00 a.m. - 3 : 30 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Assembly Technician - Machine Operator is a multi-faceted role that supports the different companies within the organization.

You may be responsible for any or all of the following operations : drilling, grinding, machining, forklift operation, assembling, inspecting and packaging products, as well as shipping and receiving functions.

Must be flexible and capable of performing multiple operations in an environment where you will work independently and as part of a team.

JOB DUTIES

• Light manufacturing and assembly
• Inspection, testing, and packaging of various products across the companies
• Drill press operation
• Shipping and receiving functions across the companies
• Get along and communicate with, and take direction from, fellow workers and management

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills a plus
• Previous machine shop or assembly experience a plus
• Experience working with multiple machines a plus
• Prior experience operating a drill press and grinding machine ideal
• Quality control or inspection a plus

PHYSICAL / MENTAL / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Most operations can be performed either sitting or standing
• Environment is a combined manufacturing, warehouse, and assembly environment
• Must be able to occasionally sit, stand, walk, occasionally kneel stoop or crouch; use hands to touch, feel and assemble products.
• May frequently lift 20 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Hear, listen, see, speak clearly
