Job description
- Working knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel)
- Familiarity with DCIM (cable mgmt. virtual tools) and ticketing tools. (ServiceNow preferable)
- Ability to maintain correspondence with customers regarding installation / project status
Fieldwork :
- Ability to install complete copper and fiber (Patching and infrastructure) circuits
- Ability to use and read Fluke instruments
- Ability to conduct and maintain inventory levels
- Ability to work with and install pre-terminated fiber solutions
- A+ level of computer knowledge a plus. Ability to identify and swap server components
- Familiarity with racking and stacking equipment (Routers / switches / servers)
- Familiar with terminations of 33, 66, 110 blocks up to 300 pair cable
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Education
HS Diploma and / or equivalent degree in Trade or 5+ year's experience
