Municipal & School Associate Attorney

Im seeking 2-5 years ’ experience Municipal & School Associate Attorney in our Camp Hill / Harri sburg office. The Municipal & School Practice Group in our Camp Hill office is looking for a driven and knowledgeable associate to join our team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with our experienced shareholders and associates on a diverse range of clients in the public sector.

As an associate in this group, you will be responsible for providing top-notch legal research and support to our senior counsel and clients.

This will involve staying up-to-date on laws and regulations governing public bodies, such as the Right-to-Know Law, the Sunshine Act, and the Ethics Act.

Additionally, you will have the chance to represent our clients in zoning matters and support them with code and ordinance drafting and enforcement.

Your role will also involve drafting important documents for collective bargaining, arbitration, and public sector labor practices.

We will look to you to provide legal advice on public bidding and contracting, as well as prepare and analyze client agreements.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to assist with real estate and eminent domain proceedings and attend school district, municipal, and public board meetings and hearings.

You will play a crucial role in advising on local tax issues and have the chance to prepare materials and appear in court on behalf of our public sector clients.

This includes providing guidance on First Amendment student rights and special education matters. This is an exciting and dynamic role that will allow you to make a meaningful impact in the community while continuously developing your skills.
