Key responsibilities :
- Study the inputs received from customers, check the completeness of data and seek clarification or additional data if required.
- Breakdown the task into sub tasks and assign to the team members
- Guide designers to perform assigned tasks
- Monitor and review assigned tasks
- Providing T echnical solutions to difficult / specialized problems
- Ensure on time delivery with required quality level
- Coordination with peers / onsite delivery team / customer
- Update the work status to module lead / customer / Onsite coordinator
- Conduct knowledge sharing and on job training sessions for team
- Document the best practices, preferred work procedures
- Generate ideas to improve the productivity, processes and encourage team members to follow the standard operating practices.
- Participate actively in acquisition of patents and publishing technical papers in their area of work
- Creating and helping the team to create KM documents based on project learnings
Knowledge / Experience
- Proven track record of leadership within BIW including
- Concept & Packaging
- Safety
- Vehicle Performance
- Test & Validation including Homologation in different regions
- Demonstrable understanding of BIW architectures
- Good understanding of BOM processes
- Demonstrable understanding of the cascade of Performance, Weight, Functional, Cost & Quality Targets
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent relationship building, collaboration and negotiation skills.
