Summary / Objective :
The Server Administrator provides technical leadership in problem solving, security, maintenance, and project build situations, formulating solutions for improvement, and working with peers to establish a strategic direction for the environment.
This position will secure, install, maintain, and configure systems inside our Azure cloud platform. Lead the team and collaborate with other professionals to ensure high quality deliverables within organization guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Set and manage work processes, optimization methods, and risk management tools in the given projects for the successful accomplishments according to the requirements of the stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
Primary responsibilities include provisioning and supporting web and mobile ecommerce applications and infrastructure for a large-scale enterprise environment.
Set the strategy for work done with infrastructure and platform capabilities - container, middleware, messaging, routing components.
Perform and set the strategy for the development of customized software and hardware requirements.
Education and Experience :
5- 8 years experience designing and deploying IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS solutions in Azure.
Bachelor’s Degree in System Engineering or related fields
Azure Certification preferred but not required
Required experience in native platforms. modernizing and migrating traditional IT applications to cloud
Expert level experience with LDAP / Azure AD, DNS, SSO, MDM, SMTP, system performance-monitoring tools, virtualization, HTTP, interacting with REST APIs for application integration and automation, and familiarity with authentication standards.
Skills / Qualifications :
Hands-on, proven expertise with developing technical solutions involving multiple applications to solve business and production needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working within teams and among stakeholders. Expertise in Ubuntu Linux, MacOS, and / or Windows systems administration in a professional environment.
Expert knowledge and ability to set the standards for managing cloud-based solutions using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure App services v3.
Expert knowledge and ability to set the strategy in working with Python and other scripting languages such as bash, Perl, etc.
Expert knowledge and ability to set the strategy for Git, Azure Devops, or other version control systems.
Expert knowledge in Azure Monitor and application insights. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Expert understanding of TCP / IP networks, troubleshooting, and related technologies
Strong, demonstrated skills in the following at a minimum : Azure, Chef, Docker, Terraform, F5, Apache, Nginx, Tomcat, ElasticSearch, Angular.
js, Node.js, Spring / Java and Reddis.
Required knowledge and understanding of technical architecture, application systems design and integration in a large heterogeneous enterprise environment.
Experienced systems engineer eager to join a DevOps culture Systems Engineering team.
Ability to guide others and set the strategy for engineering and systems engineering operations. Encompass a strong development background in one or more languages.
Must possess expert level writing automation using Chef, ansible, terraform or other SCM tools
Expert knowledge and ability to guide and set the strategy for Git or similar distributed version control systems as well as with Continuous Integration / Deployment techniques.
Ability to lead and set the strategy for troubleshooting applications and systems using various technologies such as Dynatrace, Azure App Insights, or Splunk.
Above all, you must have a passion for new and emerging technology and a constant drive of curiosity. This position works closely with various business Engineering and Production teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide stellar customer support.
