Job Summary
At FirstLight Home Care of Asheville, we are looking for a Caregivers to provide assistance to clients in Asheville and Hendersonville, North Carolina.
This position is ideal for compassionate individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Caregiver will help patients in their home by assisting with various daily living needs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, preparing meals, and providing companionship.
Compensation & Benefits
We are offering a salary range of $17 to $20 for the Caregiver position.
Various shifts are available, including evening and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to elderly patients in their own home, as well as at a facility if necessary
- Assist clients in bathing, dressing, and other activities of daily living
- Prepare meals for patients
- Make sure the health and safety of patients is maintained
- Provide emotional support for patients
- Observe client's condition, record information about the patient, and communicate changes in the patient's condition to the nurse or other health care professional
Requirements
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Good organizational skills
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
