Job Overview : Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in San Jose, California.
This role involves providing essential therapy services to students in a school setting, helping them achieve their full potential in both academic and daily life activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students needs and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve students physical, cognitive, and social abilities.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy strategies into students educational programs.
- Monitor and document students progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for occupational therapy services.
Qualifications :
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid California Occupational Therapy license.
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
