SystemsAutomation is a policybased solution to optimize efficiency andavailability of critical systems and applications.

It is designedto reduce administrative and operational tasks; customization andprogramming effort for responding to system events.

The migrationwill convert existing OPS / MVS rules and Rexxexecs.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

We areseeking experienced Senior Engineers to join our softwaremaintenance and support team. As a Senior Engineer you will beresponsible for providing maintenance and support for OSP 10 andRel 7.

7 software products. Your expertise in Corgi Pacemaker forRHEL HA Python git ansible and Jenkins / Groovy will be crucial inensuring the stability and reliability of our software offerings.

You will work closely with a team of engineers reviewing publishedvulnerabilities and providing support to customers who are usingprevious versions of our software products.

Performs research design implementation and support tasks as amember of Capgemini team. Works in accordance with projectguidelines quality standards and code conventions.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide maintenance and support for OSP 10 and Rel 7.7 softwareproducts

Review and address publishedvulnerabilities ensuring the software remains secure andresilient

Collaborate with a team ofengineers to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues

Assist in backporting critical CVEs (CommonVulnerabilities and Exposures) to maintain softwaresecurity

Work closely with kernel developersto address software issues and optimize performance

Maintain a thorough understanding of the softwareproducts and their functionality

Collaboratewith internal teams to develop and implement software patches andupdates

Contribute to the improvement ofsoftware maintenance processes and procedures

Stay up to date with industry trends and advancementsto provide proactive support and recommendations

Ensures that assigned area / areas are delivered withinset deadlines and required quality objectives.

Provides estimations agrees task duration with themanager and contributes to project plan of assignedarea.

Analyzes scope of alternativesolutions and makes decision about area implementation based onhis / her experience and technical expertise.

Reports about area readiness / quality and raises red flags in crisissituations which are beyond his / her AOR.

Initiates and conducts code reviews creates code standardsconventions and guidelines.

Collaborateswith other teams.

REQUIRED EDUCATION ANDEXPERIENCE

Must have :

58 years of experience as a Senior Engineer in software maintenanceand support

Strong knowledge of CorgiPacemaker for RHEL HA Python git ansible andJenkins / Groovy
