The salary for this position starts at $54,000. We take into consideration an individuals background and experience in determining salary;

therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.

Job Summary : The Youth & Family Services Program Manager provides daily direction and supervision in the designated youth services or youth program.

The incumbent assists in developing, delivering, and administering community and facility based Intervention programs. The incumbent is responsible for recruiting, hiring, supervising, and developing team members.

Essential Functions : Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop team members and volunteers. Assist in developing programs, services and activities.

Responsible for the day to day management and oversight of program operations. May assist in writing and assembling grant proposals.

Manage program specific budgets including training and supervising staff who access grant funds for service delivery, auditing and approving expense reports, and assisting the Director in financial billing and reporting duties.

Assist in the collection, auditing, and reporting of data and outcomes for programs / grants, and work with Director to ensure the collection of appropriate data.

Perform required administrative duties for the program. Communicate and interpret Youth and Family Services programs, objectives, policies, and operating procedures to all department staff, volunteers, and Y members.

Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to provide high-quality, comprehensive services are provided to youth and families.

Attend community and program-specific meetings. Delivers a high level of service for all program participants. Participates in a staff leadership role for the Annual Campaign as defined by the Executive Director or Program Executive.

Build and maintain relationships with agency and community partners to advance the mission of the programs. May assist in the creation and / or delivery of trainings to the public.

May be responsible for assisting in the delivery of curriculum based groups and services. May be responsible for assisting in the development / delivery of or engaging in program and community events and activities Relationships : This position reports to the Youth & Family Services Program Director.

The incumbent interacts regularly with staff, members and the community. This position requires regular interaction with youth, families and community partners from a variety of diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications : Required Bachelors Degree in related field (Human Services, Social Work, Corrections or Youth Development) or equivalent experience.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in youth development to include case management, working with diverse, low income and at risk youth or related human service experience.

Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience or leading project work teams. Demonstrated professionalism in the areas of time management and communication.

Ability to effectively problem solve utilizing all resources available. Must be able to work in an independent and self-directed manner.

Experience working with diverse populations. Basic computer skills including Microsoft office suite (Word and Excel) Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, AED certification with the first 30 days of employment Ability to transport youth to meetings and activities.

Preferred Multilingual Prior fundraising experience Work Conditions : Must be able to travel locally to attend meetings and training.

Ability to perform a variety of physical activities with program participants which may include but are not limited to walking, standing for long periods of time, running, throwing and lifting up to 50lbs.
