WHAT ARE THE HOURS?
The full-time work schedule for this position includes any of the following schedules :
- 7 AM - 4 PM, Monday through Friday
- 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday
- 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday
For part-time positions, we provide flexibility and the opportunity to contribute anytime during the shifts listed.
WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
As a Surgical Veterinary Assistant, you will be responsible for conducting pre-surgical assessments, administering pre-anesthetic medications, providing hands-on assistance during surgeries, continuously monitoring patients, overseeing the recovery process, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and inventory management in the clinic.
Your work will be pivotal in ensuring that pets receive high-quality care and the clinic runs smoothly in a high-volume environment.
IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?
- 2+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic, including assisting with surgeries
- Strong understanding of veterinary or medical clinic procedures and protocols
- Dedication to upholding high standards of animal care and welfare
