About the Role
Strategic conceptual thinker witha background in branding and layout design for beauty and fashionbrands. Art Director will work with Creative Director to supportthe visual positioning and representation of Avon brands andchannels with a modern relevant and compelling aesthetic.
Thisincludes full scale model and product photo shoots as well asbranded graphic design. Will partner with Copywriters Marketing andProduction teams to ensure that all goals are met and creativeaesthetics are upheld.

Ideate and execute brand visualswith modern creative content for every channel and selling vehiclewithin the beauty and fashion categories.
Partner with crossfunctionalteams to deliver strong creative concepts and executions of productlaunches that follow project briefs.
An elevated taste level andunderstanding of relevant beauty fashion and design trends and howthey relate to the business.
Create tight comps that bestrepresent creative direction graphic design and typography that isbrand supportive and clear in message.
Prep and art direct manystilllife and model photo shoots; provide shoot decks.
Independently lead outsideagencies stylists photographers etc.
Manage multiple projects indifferent states of completion to ensure all timelines are met.
The leadership to drive the Avonbrand along with the humility to roll up sleeves to collaboratewith the team.
A strong eye towards what is nextand innovative.
MinimumQualifications :
Qualifications
8 years experience in thecreative development and execution of print / digital promotion inthe beauty / fashion arena
Experience in both model andproduct photo shoots including model casting styling lighting setsand props etc.
Strong proficiency in AdobeDesign Suite (Photoshop Illustrator Indesign)
Knowledge of Flash and HTML aplus
Highly creative in generating newand modern ideas with an attention to detail
Strong experience collaboratingcrossfunctionally and in a team
Portfolio showing solid skills inboth design and conceptual thinking in print
An elevated taste level withexpert design photography and typography skills.
Experience in print productioncycle and retouching
Ability to communicate well andto present designs / concepts to senior management
