Job Title : CNC Machine Operator Job Description
- Set up, program, operate, or tend computerized or manual woodworking machines, such as drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, or wood-nailing machines.
- Examine finished workpieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut, or conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, visually and using hands, rules, calipers, templates, or gauges.
- Start machines, adjust controls, and make trial cuts to ensure that machinery is operating properly.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Benicia, California.
Work Environment
- Large warehouse where they build store fixtures. The company helps coffee houses, retail stores, grocery chains, restaurants, and virtually any commercial outlet create environments that express their unique brand.
- They work with clients to design customized display cases and store fixtures that reflect the brand’s identity, remain consistent across all locations, and are primed for additional rollouts.
The company meets budget and deadlines.
