When a human looks at a picture of an item, they can easily identify what the item is and understand how to pick it up. Robots and every fulfillment process from procurement through delivery rely on an understanding of an item’s physical characteristics to make efficient fulfillment decisions.
Our vision is to teach our systems to do what comes naturally to humans - identify items, describe them, and make fast, informed choices.
To solve these challenges at scale, we leverage a rich set of data including measurements, images, point clouds, and beyond.
We then use a variety of techniques including computer vision, machine learning, and advanced statistics to create powerful insights for automated decision making and improved customer experience.
