Overview
The Chief Security Office (CSO) comprises the Corporate Security unit the Chief Information Security Office (CISO), which guarantees information security for Deutsche Bank.
To do this, we provide the Information Security teams with solutions through implemented different projects to support their operations and automate their processes.
Furthermore, our team monitors and ensures the compliance of CSO application to Deutsche Bank policies on technical level, and Deutsche Bank is looking to expand its Cyber Hygiene Cloud Security team.
You will be involved in exciting projects which we deliver using the latest Agile methodologies and be part of a growing team, which is responsible for supporting remediation and analysis of cloud vulnerabilities and misconfigurations within the Bank.
As part of this role, you will be expected to communicate the technical and security deficiencies to business application owners and help them to understand and remediate their findings thereby reducing the overall risk in our regulated environment.

What You’ll Do
Providing L2 support to application owners by answering questions about cloud security alerts and offering them advice on how to remediate their issues, as well as analyze and compare cloud alerting data from various sources to identify gaps, discrepancies, and root causes
Create and maintain documentation related to Cloud scanning and vulnerability management processes, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures
Work and collaborate with application development teams to address their security issues earlier in the development process as per our Shift Left initiative
Collaborate and champion cloud security awareness and best practices among application teams
Stay up to date with the latest Cloud security features, vulnerabilities, and best practices, and provide recommendations for improvement
Create and update existing documentation to reflect lessons learned and feedback obtained from our stakeholders
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field
Previous experience using cloud scanning tools for vulnerability, compliance, and posture management (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Tanium, Tenable Nessus, etc.)
Basic understanding of cloud services focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
Relevant hands-on experience in cloud security, vulnerability management, compliance management, or network security is a plus
Experience with coding / scripting for data analysis (e.g., Python) or use of Excel for reporting
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proactive and problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Relevant certifications are a plus
The ability to challenge the current status quo and recommend / implement operational improvements
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $60,000 to $86,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
