Our client, a major beauty brand, is seeking a talented mid to senior level copywriter with extensive experience in the beauty industry across retail, editorial, agency, or brand settings.
As a freelance copywriter, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating content for various platforms.
Responsibilities :
- Craft compelling captions, overlays, and light storyboards tailored for Instagram, Instagram Stories, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms.
- Develop engaging copy for marketing initiatives, covering a 360-degree sphere of content creation.
- Demonstrate versatility in writing for beauty, lifestyle, and pop culture, while also understanding key performance indicators (KPIs), return on ad spend (ROAS), and retail and social media best practices.
- Navigate both upper funnel and lower funnel content creation, ensuring your writing resonates effectively with diverse audience segments.
- Serve as a master wordsmith, showcasing sophistication in wordplay, delivering clever one-liners, and excelling as a storyteller and story packager.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a copywriter with a focus on beauty and skincare brands.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating content for retail, editorial, agency, or brand contexts.
- Familiarity with social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Understanding of marketing metrics such as ROAS, KPIs, and best practices in both retail and social media.
- Ability to differentiate between upper and lower funnel content and write effectively for both.
- Exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work within brand guidelines.
Requirements :
- Showcase a comprehensive portfolio featuring work for major beauty and skincare brands.
- Provide examples of emails, banner ads, social media content, and other relevant materials in your portfolio.
- Demonstrate a track record of successful campaigns and effective communication strategies.
