The Pharmacy Clerk in the Central Fill Pharmacy packages prescriptions and prepares them for shipping.
Schedule : Work Schedule is Monday-Friday 1 : 00pm-9 : 30pm for the first two weeks for training.
Pay Rate : The wage for this position is $20.75. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Requirements :
- High School Degree or equivalent experience
- One year warehouse, retail or customer service setting
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of federal and state HIPAA laws
- Basic mathematic skills
- Operate a hand truck / dolly
- Operate scanning units
Job Duties :
- Performs prescription packaging that entails handling HIPAA sensitive information and medication information.
- Performs prescriptions sortation utilizing handheld scanners.
- Performs audits for closed bins.
- Reading and analyzing application screens, and pops up windows to ensure that all HIPAA sensitive information is being followed by standard operating procedures.
- Records total bins created in the system, by location, for a production day. Ensure that the total tote system count equals the physical count.
- Restocks work stations with daily supply needs.
- In addition to basic cleaning responsibility : Taking out trash, wiping down surfaces, sweeping, etc.
