We are a marketing and distribution company for automotive parts and are the leading supplier of CV Axles to the Automotive Aftermarket in North America.

We also offer a broad coverage of Window Regulators, Drive Shafts, and ATV Axles. We sell to Warehouse Distributors and mass retailers throughout North America and are a rapidly growing company poised for continued growth.

JOB SUMMARY :

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for ensuring efficient procurement processes, managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, internal communications regarding inventory, knowledge of prices, buyers, and delivery conditions to anticipate future material availability.

This will include daily cycle counting, investigation of discrepancies, and reporting findings. This position runs and reconciles inventory management reports and is critical to the operations of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge of inventory system.
  • Prepare weekly inventory orders to vendors.
  • Track and communicate receipt of orders.
  • Provide daily uploads of inventory levels to customers.
  • Create and prioritize daily Cycle count assignments.
  • Review all cycle counts performed.
  • Perform all reconciliation on all cycle count variances.
  • Perform all adjustments related to the cycle count program.
  • Log all adjustments on cycle count worksheets.
  • Maintain back up documentation log on all adjustments.
  • Short pick adjustments, reconcile and reporting.
  • Investigate shipping / picking errors.
  • Maintenance of receiving bins.
  • Investigate, reconcile, and report large quantity discrepancies.
  • Perform bin maintain counts as needed.
  • Perform multiple inventory administrative functions.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining a consolidation program.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Will not have any direct reports.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED :

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose emails with good grammar
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Exceptional data entry skills (fast and accurate)
  • Proficient with Excel and Access
  • Self-starter with strong self-initiative
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL EFFORT :

  • Ability to lift, lower carry product up to a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Regular sitting, walking, standing, bending and climbing stairs
  • Office environment with minimal noise
