About the Role

You will oversee specific aspects of the US immigration process and will be responsible for communicating with clients, gathering application documents, reviewing files, and submitting applications.

You will be responsible for an array of US business immigration cases from inception to resolution and provide industry-leading service to clients by offering timely and clear immigration support.

You will be required to follow the outlined company-developed processing workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the front-line for US immigration inquiries regarding timelines, process flows, reporting, escalations.
  • With the assistance and direction of the US attorneys in the affiliate law firm create visuals, videos and tutorials to explain intake process, questionnaires and US immigration process
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendar for US attorneys in the affiliate firm
  • Support clients through the intake and closing process
  • Bill clients via Immigo
  • Provide consular support assistance for immigrant visa (employment based and marriage based) and non-immigrant visa applications (B-1, H-1B, L-1, E-1, E-2, E-3, O-1), including DS-160 and DS-260 forms.
  • Actively monitor individual case pipeline to achieve production targets, meet critical deadlines, and increase client satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate with customers regarding procedural and case processing issues, identify client immigration solutions, and understand current client activity.
  • Work on special projects, as assigned.
  • With direction from the US attorneys, support the production process of immigration processes and filings
  • Support and draft news updates for clients
  • Update Immigo with all client information

Requirements

  • 5+ year of business immigration experience, either as a Paralegal or Immigration Specialist (Preference for O-1, E-2, EB-1, and EB-2 NIW experience).
  • 1+ year of experience working in a law firm, corporate, or startup setting
  • Strong writing, logical reasoning, and communication skills
  • Strong client services skills : Experience directly interacting for customers via email, call, and videoExperience anticipating clients’ needs and addressing their concerns
  • Experience managing individual pipeline and proven ability to juggle multiple customers and priorities, keeping all customers informed of changes to deadlines
  • Ability to function independently while following established directions and processes with limited hand-holding
  • Strong attention to detail

Working Conditions :

  • Must currently reside near operational office in Houston, TX.
  • Work location is in the office Monday through Friday.
  • CIBT work locations comply with all COVID-19 safety protocols.
