Asphalt Specialties Company, Inc. is a Colorado family-owned corporation. We specialize in meeting individual customer needs while providing quality products and services throughout the Front Range of Colorado.
We supply a full range of building materials including aggregate, asphalt and many recycled products.
The Roto mill operator uses heavy power-driven milling equipment to grind off layers of asphalt from highways, roadbeds, parking lots, etc.
The use of power tools and / or hand tools are used for applying asphalt products as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Operation of Wirtgen Roto mill Machines
- General duties associated with asphalt paving, patching, milling
- Operation of small power tools
- Labor duties as required; ability to shovel, rake and use other tools
- Follow direction of Milling Superintendent regarding daily production schedule and workflow
- Responsible for reporting equipment problems to Superintendent or shop personnel
- Must wear required PPE and follow all safety guidelines, policies and procedures
- Work hours adjusted to meet business needs; days, nights, weekends
- Maintain consistent and regular attendance
Physical Demands and Work Environment :
- Must be able to work outside, frequently for long periods of time in all weather types, including extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to wear PPE : Hard hat, eye and ear protection, safety vest, dust mask, etc.
Experience :
Previous experience operating equipment is required
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $26.00 - $29.00 per hour
