Line Cooks are responsible for ensuring guest's receive the best culinary experience possible. This is done by adhering to recipe and plating standards, working effectively as a team, and contributing innovative ideas to the kitchen's functionality and menu.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards for a safe and efficient shift
- Assist in minor prep duties as necessary
- Report directly to the Sous Chef
- Assist in the creation of new menu items and specials
- Adhere to recipe and plating standards
- Work within specified ticket times
- Assist in expediting when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum two years experience as a line cook in a full service restaurant
- Working knife skills required
- Basic prep skills required
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Evening / dinner service availability required
