About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Accommodation and Food Services industry. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for managing accounts, processing invoices, and performing bank reconciliations.
The major end result of this position is to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in the Accommodation and Food Services industry
- Experience with prepaids and accruals
Responsibilities :
- Process / review invoices and manage accounts payable
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- Assist with month end close procedures and accruals
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Skills :
As an Accounting Clerk, you will utilize your skills in bank reconciliation, accounts payable, and account reconciliation on a daily basis.
Additionally, you will need to work well in a team environment and have strong attention to detail to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Your proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software will also be utilized in this role.
