Job Description
You will be the Facilities & Fire Protection Specialist for the Lockheed Martin Greenville Location. Our team is responsible for maintenance, inspection and repair of the Lockheed Martin Greenville facility.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Facilities & Fire Protection Specialist you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and servicing site fire protection systems to the prescribed standards, Fire system checks in accordance with local and state fire code, identifying code and system deficiencies, preparing accurate and timely inspection reports, performing on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs of site fire sprinklers system, managing projects focused on fire system upgrades.
Technician will gather data from existing and new equipment that can be entered into LM's Asset Management Control Systems.
This data will be used to set Preventative Maintenance schedules and maintenance activities. Technician must possess skills to direct day to day activities of sub-contractors or vendors and be able to communicate with all personnel at any level.
- Security clearance will need to be obtained within the first year.
- Candidate must be available to respond to off hour calls and emergencies, and be able to adjust schedule as necessary to perform job duties around business typo needs.
- Candidate may be required to lift / carry up to 50 pounds, perform repetitive movements, and perform work from ground level to overhead.
This position requires frequent standing for long periods, walking, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, and twisting.
