Location : Onsite Rockford, IL
Schedule : Monday Friday 8-5
Salary range (hourly only) : $17-$20, depending upon experience
What work will you perform?
The LCAPP (Landstar Contractor’s Advantage Purchasing Program) department assists in facilitating our Owner / Operators with money saving discounts while also managing our fleets Electronic Logging Device (ELD) units and services.
Our coordinators are on the front line of that process answering a high volume of calls and processing requests & inquiries.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Process & approve qualifying Owner / Operator tire purchases up to $2,
- Review & process tire vendor delivery receipts to create PO numbers up to $6,
- Collect & process necessary documentation from Owner / Operators for trailer loan applications
- Assist with ordering & management of ELDs at our field offices and our Rockford office
- Approve ELD service contracts & orders, charge Owner / Operators for the unit & set up appropriate service deductions
- Manage ELD device tracking spreadsheet for all Owner / Operators
- Reconcile all Solera invoices and process for payment
- Charge Owner / Operators for SmartDrive units & service deductions
- Audit the weekly escrow report to ensure all ELD & SmartDrive devices are paid in full
- Assist Owner / Operators by handling inbound calls
- Manage Fuel / Tire / ELD discrepancies & resolution
Required Minimum Experience and Education :
- High School degree or equivalent
- 6 months of Customer Service or data entry experience.
Preferred Experience and Education :
- Inbound call center experience
- Transportation experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & under pressure
- Microsoft Office, internet knowledge
- Excel & AS400 knowledge preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to perform work with minimal supervision
