The Role :
The Vice President of Brand and Integrated Marketing plays a pivotal role in upholding Las Vegas as the world's most desirable destination for leisure and business travel.
Through strategic brand marketing, this leader will guide teams in driving demand for the iconic Las Vegas destination by creating compelling and differentiating multi-channel brand campaigns, leveraging high-profile partnerships, and delivering a 'Category of One' level of activations.

- Drive Destination Demand :
- Be a steward of the Las Vegas Brand; drive brand affinity and destination appeal by continuously listening to the market and adapting messaging to be culture-forward, timely, and compelling.
- Work with destination stakeholders to develop marketing campaigns and flighting that solve business needs.
- Establish goals and strategy for meeting brand marketing objectives; work with cross-functional teams to establish targets.
- Develop, track, and optimize campaign-level performance.
- Develop a research plan that identifies insights and measures brand performance.
- Lead An Extraordinary Team :
- Provide daily advertising, marketing, sponsorship, and marketing research leadership.
- Develop and implement Brand and Integrated Marketing team goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and work standards.
- Direct, motivate, and encourage staff to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Direct the selection of staff and provide for their training and professional development.
- Drive collaboration and maximum performance across agency partners and resources.
- Develop and Foster Partnerships :
- Identify new partners and act as the lead architect in building consumer programs and experiences that maximize those partnerships on behalf of the destination.
- Oversee and develop existing partnerships - e.g., NFL or Live Nation - and identify and direct the resources needed to activate those partnerships on behalf of the destination.
- Maximize marquee events, partnerships, and sponsorships investments.
- Complete Administrative Tasks :
- Oversee agency contracts and annual budgets.
- Develop content and presentations for monthly Board of Directors meetings when necessary.
What We're Looking For :
- Proven track record in building a successful brand and high-impact advertising campaigns
- Seasoned, senior-level leader with proven experience in an Advertising, Marketing, Sponsorship, or Media role
- Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar budget(s) and directing creative / media buying agencies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to create, communicate and direct a team to achieve the Authority's mission
- Proactive, curious, and collaborative; and thrives on the ability to own, innovate, create and re-evaluate
- Ability to work outside regular office hours and approve creative work and media plans within tight deadlines
- Cultural and situational awareness knowledge with the ability to demonstrate commitment to valuing differences among individuals and being inclusive
- Ability to write reports, budgets, business correspondence, sales collateral, and procedure manuals
- Ability to speak publicly, effectively present information, and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, mission partners and the general public

- Must have a flexible schedule for travel
