Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review legal documents related to real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and deeds.
- Conduct title searches, review title reports, and coordinate with title companies to resolve any issues.
- Assist with the drafting and amending of association governing documents.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal ethics in all dealings.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal support to attorneys.
- Manage projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and oversee the escrow process.
- Review real estate contracts and provide insightful analysis.
- Stay updated with current real estate market trends, laws, and regulations.
- Use legal terminology and legal case management software effectively.
- Resolve conflicts and ensure smooth closing processes.
- Perform administrative duties, including data entry and customer service.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal.
- Proficient in real estate law, legal document preparation, legal research, and closing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- Experience in conducting title searches and handling real estate contracts.
- Familiarity with HOA law, condo law, community association, and Texas federal and statutes for HOA.
- Knowledge of real estate development, real estate planning, and real estate financing.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal ethics.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and administrative skills.
- Strong knowledge of property law, real estate laws, and regulations.
- Experience in drafting and amending association governing documents is a plus.
