Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the hospitals Sterile Processing functions, including decontamination, assembly, and sterilization.
- All reprocessing / distribution / pickup, and all hiring, training, and coordination of the work of all Sterile Processing staff.
- Manage all staff to include scheduling, time approval, hiring and corrective action as needed.
- The Manager is also responsible for all regulatory agency compliance for in-house sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Qualifications
Job Requirements :
- More than 5 years of Sterile Processing experience
- 3 years of leadership experience with direct reports
- CRCST, CSPDT or CST certification
Preferred Job Requirements :
- Associates degree in related field, or applicable experience
