Acara Solutions seeks for a Order Management Support to work on-site with our client in Grand Rapids, MI.Pay : $26 / hr.Hours : 40 hours / week.
Length : Temp (12 Months).Shift : Monday -Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 4 : 30PM on a 9 / 80 schedule Here's what you'd do : -In this position, the candidate will act as the primary customer point of contact for inquiries, problem resolution, order entry, quoting, schedule changes, credit issues, warranty administration, online technical publications administration, and AOG support for the client.
- They will submit quotes for the price and availability of the client's Products standard products based on inventory levels or production availability.
- In addition, they will review all customer purchase orders for production items after resolving specific conditions, acknowledge purchase orders with negotiated terms and conditions, and advise the customer of the status of open orders.
- They will also ensure that all mutually agreed purchase order requirements, including delivery schedules, are accomplished.
- Ensure export control requirements regarding the Customer Support Administrator position are met.-Takes the lead to improve how we do business with all Customers.
- Identify, recommend, and implement innovative process improvements.-Ensures SOPs are updated upon completion of process improvement projects.
- Participates in business-to-business capabilities through website enhancements and E-commerce upgrades.-Manages customer relationships beyond current business activities by developing relationships with Customers.
- Responsible for all interfaces between the client's Products and customers regarding contract / PO matters.-Manage customer conflict with tact to ensure a win-win solution.
- Become knowledgeable with the client's MRPs related to the Order Management function.-Maintains current customer files, archives files, and correspondence that is over one year old.
- Assists other Order Management administrators when necessary.-Provide support to Regional Sales Managers and proactively communicate sales activity.
- Responsible for performing job duties consistent with the client's Ethics and Standards.-Responsible for working in a manner consistent with established safety rules and regulations and the use and maintenance of necessary personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to, safety glasses.
- May develop and process dealer agreements with the necessary management approvals.-Performs job duties by approved procedures established in support of Sarbanes-Oxley regulation.
Required Skills / Qualifications : -High School Diploma or GED.-Minimum of 2 years experience in Order Management and MRP systems.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications : Empowerment, ownership, and accountability throughout the Order Management position. Additional Information : -Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
