- The System Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems within industrial plants.
- They collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure reliable operation.
Responsibilities :
- System Design : Develop and design control systems, instrumentation, and automation solutions for plant equipment and processes.
- Integration : Integrate various subsystems (such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS) to create a cohesive and efficient plant-wide system.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to plant systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Process Optimization : Analyze data, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Maintenance : Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, and preventive measures.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental guidelines.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
- Experience : Prior experience in industrial automation, control systems, or process engineering.
Skills :
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Knowledge of HMI / SCADA systems.
- Familiarity with P&IDs (Process and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
