Job Summary
The Field Team works internally and with clients to drive top-line sales by maximizing customer loyalty through utilizing insights and proven practices to implement strategies that enhance the client’s associate and customer experience with Bread Financial products.
The Regional Engagement Manager is consulted in the development of internal / client-facing strategies and provides recommendations to maximize performance and productivity.
In addition, the Regional Engagement Manager will execute internal / client-facing strategies within their area(s) of responsibility and is responsible for market performance to support the overall goals of the Field Team and Bread Financial.
Essential Job Functions :
Strategy and Performance : Responsible for the execution of engagement strategies such as clientinteractions (in-person or virtual), written communication, conference calls, etc.
that deliver incremental and profitable results to achieve acquisition budgets for assigned clients. Effectively analyzes performance, identifies opportunities for growth, and influences positive change both internally and externally.
Partners cross-functionally, when needed, to maximize performance and productivity. Works independently and leverages prioritization skills, time management, and detail orientation to ensure deliverables are achieved when managing multiple activities and complex projects simultaneously.
Influence, Collaboration, and Communication : Cultivates, manages, and develops relationships with clientsto execute tactics (.
training, in-person / virtual visits, and program inspection) within their scope of responsibility.Will interact directly with clients and possessexpertise in VAK (visual / auditory / kinesthetic) learning styles to engage virtually, electronically, and in person.
Facilitates dialogue and training in client interactions focused on the benefits of Bread Financials' payment solutions.
Is a subject-matter expert on tactics to drive associate engagement and provides recommendations to maximize performance.
Accelerates sustainable results through the understanding of market uniqueness. Leverages active listening, negotiation, and interpersonal savvy to effectively navigate difficult conversations internally and externally.
Operational Excellence : Prioritizes and executes tactics to support the field strategy and exhibits critical thinking and decision quality.
A Regional Engagement Manager will inspect and validate a client's awareness, expertise, and usage of the following tools to educate, empower, and inspire teams to drive program performance (, training collateral, signage, in-store contests and incentives, recognition programs, field communication, capability usage, and performance reporting usage.
They will observe client interactions and associate behaviors to gauge their knowledge of payment optionsand providerecognition, coaching, and recommendations to store teams to mitigate risk and grow their business.
Adheres to clear controls and monitorsaccuratebehaviors,such as auditing in-store marketing and training collateral, associate malfeasance, and the inspection of a client’s communication to their associate populationto ensure compliance and operating standards are achieved.
Understands and complies with sales practices, operating platforms, systems of record, and service level agreements. Identifies, implements, and / or assists with process improvements / standardization and the development of case studies and proof points to advance Field Team initiatives.
Develop Talent : Prioritizes personal growth and development through continued learning, exploring new skills, and taking on challenging projects.
Contributes to the overall development and growth of the department. Enterprise-wide contribution through various practices including effective and direct feedback, internal relationships, community involvement, BRGs (Business Resource Groups), networking groups, etc.

Up to 75% travel is required, including air travel
This position is currently available to candidates that reside within 80 miles of Coeur D'Alene, ID
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degreeor equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Finance, or related field
Five or more years of experience working on a goal-driven team in retail, banking, fintech, or similar industry
Preferred Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Business, Retail, or Communications
Seven or more years in a sales-driven culture with accountability to achieve financial expectations Facilitation / Negotiation / Presentation Skills
Experience working on a remote / virtual team
Leadership experience preferred.
Familiarity with CRM

Typical Starting Range :
$79, - $144,
Full Salary Range for position :
California : $91, - $180,Colorado : $79, - $151,New York : $87, - $180,Washington : $83, - $165,
Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses / domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26.
New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period).
Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial’s 401(k) plan.
All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off.
Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ( PSST ) upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year.
Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.
Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
