Job Summary
Performs duties related to the movement of materials, mail, lab specimens, medical records, supplies and linens within Prisma Health facilities in keeping with predetermined schedules.
Accountabilities
- Operates the courier vehicle / truck in accordance with written policies / procedures, state and local laws. Transports all materials between facilites in a timely manner as scheduled according to daily schedule, to include mail, lab specimens, clean linen, x-ray files, medical records and supply orders.
- Responsible for routine maintenance of vehicles to include gas, oil, air, and etc. Reports all service and repair requirements to Supervisor.
- At each facility, loads and unloads all material transported and delivers to designated area.
Supervisory / Management Responsibility
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
Minimum Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent or post-high school diploma / highest degree earned
Required Certifications / Registrations / Licenses
SC Driver's License with excellent driving record.
