The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for efficiently and safely handling, storing, and organizing materials in the warehouse.

- Receiving Goods : Unload trucks, verify incoming shipments, and inspect materials for damages.
- Inventory Control : Count and record stock levels, input data into inventory management systems, and ensure accurate tracking of materials.
- Material Handling : Safely move, load, and unload materials using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Order Fulfillment : Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to company procedures and customer requirements.
- Stock Organization : Organize and store materials in designated locations for easy retrieval and efficiency.
- Quality Control : Inspect outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and quality standards.
- Documentation : Complete and maintain paperwork related to inventory, deliveries, and shipments.
- Teamwork : Collaborate with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and efficient working environment.
- Safety : Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and protective gear, to prevent accidents and injuries.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as lulls, forklifts (certification may be required), pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Basic math and organizational skills for inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in stock handling and shipping.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs regularly).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with inventory software or willingness to learn.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
