Therapist - School Based Are you passionate about wanting to support young adults in having a better life? If so, Lighthouse Youth and Family Services has an immediate opening for a School Based Behavioral Health Therapist, come join our team.
Starting pay rates ranging from $43,600 to $54,000 Competitive pay based on licensure / education $2,000 Sign On Bonus Essential Functions :
- Provide therapeutic services to clients and families who have been assessed as needing mental health intervention in order to stabilize symptoms of a Mental Health disorder.
- Engage clients, families and natural supports to participate in treatment through treatment planning and progress reviews
- Work closely with other professionals in providing treatment services in the areas of mental health, employment, education, and criminal offending behaviors
- Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy / counseling to youth in home, school, and office
- Conduct risk and diagnostic assessments and develop / implement individual service plans
Qualifications :
- Professional licensure in State of Ohio as a Counselor, or Social Worker
- Masters in Counseling or Social Work Preferred
- One year of professional social service experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care principles
