This company was founded in dedicated to producing plastic parts and components for high-technology companies.
What You’ll Do : Execute MPS production schedule Week 1 to 2 Assess work centers capacity, labor & machines, routings, setup times, run standards, and move times.
Schedule work orders to work centers Monitor work in process (WIP) Communicate overtime labor needs from department leads to MPS and Planners Execute rework and scrap implications communicated from Leads, Managers, of MFEs Study workflow and sequence of operations in the department and recommend process improvements Prepare reports on key metrics Other duties as requested What’s in It for You : Pay is $28-31 an hour! What You Need to Have : The Musts : Bachelor's Degree in related discipline, will consider candidates with additional years of experience in place of having a degree Two to three years or equivalent working in a manufacturing, industrial machining or fabrication assembly environment working with metal or plastic developing manufacturing instructions and routings, preparing process instructions and supporting production.
Like experience or equivalent experience may be looked at. Strong knowledge of manufacturing process technology in materials, liquid plumbing parts, control devices and mechanisms preferred.
ISO manufacturing environment preferred. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles in a low volume manufacturing environment Good organizational skills Able to work within the MS Office suite environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels and disciplines.
