Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills.
- Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, developing, supervising and appraising personnel.
- Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media.
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
- Computer literacy in word processing, database management and page layout.
- Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and methodologies in graphic design, web design, production social media, etc.
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and other members of staff.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
- Approximately 5% Out-of-town, overnight travel is required.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing or similar area of study or equivalent years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities
- Summary : The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for the entire organization in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
- They play a critical role in aligning creative direction with the company’s strategic goals by carrying out the following duties and responsibilities.
- Essential Functions : Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or required by management.
- Lead and manage direct marketing, public relations, advertising, online marketing, social media, event marketing and internal creative services.
- Direct the efforts of the marketing staff and coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels across departments and divisions.
- Responsible for the department’s goals and financial objectives.
- Work closely with Sr. Leadership, sales and business management in determining market trends and to create demand and recognition for the Organization’s offerings.
- Plan, develop and implement internal and external marketing plans, marketing communications, and public relations activities.
- Ensure articulation of desired image and position both internally and externally.
- Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all publications and collateral materials.
- Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the department and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
- Create and ensure that the company is communicating the right messaging to attract prospective customers and retain existing ones.
- Plan / Coordinate and execute expos / tradeshows for overall company success.
- Build and develop plan to track towards the budget for expense and income working with the Director of Vendor Relations.
- Increase social media engagement and help support other departments on social media platforms, such as HR for job opening advertisement and communication.
- Help develop and make sure that the Organization’s philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization.
- Develop and coordinate means to seek regular input from the Organization’s key employees regarding the quality of programs and services and the Organization’s relevance.
- Maintain a climate that attracts, retains and motivates top quality personnel.
- Recruit, train, support and guide qualified personnel.
- Ensure effective management within the marketing, communications and public relations function, with provision for succession.
