Kitchen Line Cook
Pierce's Pitt BBQ, a Virginia staple in Williamsburg for 51 years, is seeking dedicated Line Cooks to join our team. If you're hard-working, committed, and enjoy a busy environment, Pierce's is the place for you.
This position offers the potential for growth into supervisory or management roles for the right individual. Alternatively, if you prefer a role where you can work your hours and receive competitive pay without leadership responsibilities, we have a position for you as well.
Responsibilities for Line Cook :
- Prepare customer orders as indicated by tickets displayed on the screen at your station
- Perform portion control and minimize waste
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner
- Set up and clean your station according to restaurant protocol
- Maintain a clean workstation area, including kitchen equipment, tables, and shelves
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients and products
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the line supervisor or manager on duty
No overnight or late-night shifts. Hard work is rewarded, and health benefits are available. Morning, mid, and evening shifts are all offered.
Competitive pay based on experience, with starting rates ranging from $16 / hr to $19 / hr.
