Description
Introduction
We are seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Technician to perform diagnostic procedures utilizing MRI and imaging equipment and ensure quality control in the MRI area.
Job Summary and Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, positioning, procedure preparation and technical factors associated with the MRI systems.
- Responsible for proper use of scheduling exams and patient tracking systems.
- Responsible for all other equipment used in MRI, and demonstrate the ability to assess a situation, consider alternatives, and choose appropriate actions.
- Minimum education required : Graduate of a Radiology School. Previous experience in an out-patient MRI role is desirable.
Must have American Registration of Radiologic Technologists certification or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist certification.
