Our client is currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager.
Summary :
Our client is a leader in the oil and gas industry and is has a project that is requiring the expertise of an experienced Project Manager.
With this role the potential candidate will be expected to help with :
- Creating long- and short-term plans including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
- Serving as point of contact for teams when multiple disciplines are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
- Communicating with executives and clients to keep the project aligned with their goals.
- Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- 3+ years’ experience in engineering project management for industrial projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Project or ERP software
Preferred :
- PMP Certification
- PE License
- Master’s degree in engineering
- Oil and gas project experience
Pay Rate :
$40 $57 / hr, dependent on experience
