We are looking for a Customer Experience Specialist to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry, based in Plainfield, Indiana.
This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and revolves around handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and managing complaints efficiently.
As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will be instrumental in maintaining customer satisfaction and improving our overall service delivery.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner
- Process and input all customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Handle customer complaints by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within given time limits and ensuring resolution
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Maintain an up-to-date procedures manual outlining the processes for each account pertaining to the duties of a Customer Experience Specialist
- Initiate and participate in projects aimed at improving Safety, Quality, and Productivity
- Generate all related paperwork and necessary information required for customer orders
- Coordinate special shipping requests with the operations department and track orders as required
- Act as the liaison between the warehouse, transportation, and the customer and oversee all paperwork associated with orders
- Ensure food safety and quality guidelines are followed in your work environment, which may be on the warehouse floor or in an office setting
- Cross-train on multiple tasks to cover for other associates or assist when needed.
- Prior experience in a customer service role within the wholesale distribution industry
- Proficiency in email correspondence and order management
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between customers and the company
- Demonstrated ability to resolve customer issues effectively and promptly
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Ability to handle high-volume customer inquiries in a professional manner
- Understanding of the wholesale distribution process
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
