TechOp Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Management SME with significant GSA Vehicle Leasing experience to join our team and contribute to our data-driven decision-making process.

The candidate will support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Mobile Assets Program Management Office (MAPMO), which manages a fleet of over 23,000 vehicles deployed across the U.

S. and internationally. In this role, the candidate will provide specialized knowledge and insights into fleet management practices, budgeting expertise, compliance oversight, and industry standards pertaining to leasing vehicles through the GSA Leasing Program.

This role involves analyzing fleet operations and reports, developing strategic and actionable insights, and supporting decision-making processes across various departments within our organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert advice on fleet management practices, regulations and relevant laws, policies and procedures, and industry standards
  • Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for leasing consideration
  • Develop and evaluate strategies to optimize fleet operations and / or reduce costs by leasing vehicles from GSA
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, input, and concerns about leasing vehicles through the GSA Vehicle Leasing Program
  • Present findings and insights to key stakeholders clearly and understandably based on the team's quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Requirements

  • Depth in knowledge of the GSA leasing program for motor vehicles.
  • Experience with developing and implementing leasing programs for motor vehicles for the federal government.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for efficiency in work processes and innovative approaches.
  • In-depth knowledge of fleet management practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills :

  • Business Process Improvement experience
  • Supply Chain, Telematics, and / or Fleet / Asset Management experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
