Job requirements of a Trainer :

We are looking for a Forklift Training Instructor who is required to work as a member of the Training Department reporting to the Training Manager.

Shift Pattern 4 on 4 off 6 : 40am-18 : 40pm - flexibility required, working night shifts

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties :

You have a responsibility to ensure that you fully comply with the company policy on Health and Safety in all aspects of your working environment in compliance to Health and Safety Policies including fire & evacuation, reporting accidents, DSE evaluation and the regulations.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of all site staff training records, along with the rest of the training team.
• Ensuring all site staff are trained and compliant to be carrying out their individual roles.
• Conduct Internal Training Sessions :
• Facilitate comprehensive training sessions for internal forklift operators, covering both theoretical and practical aspects.
• Tailor training programs to meet the specific needs of our organization, taking into account unique operational requirements and safety protocols.
• Perform assessments to evaluate the competence of internal forklift operators.
• Issue certifications based on successful completion of training and adherence to safety standards.
• Ensure all internal training activities align with industry safety regulations and organizational guidelines.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Responsible for the Admin of creating data Bases to maintain accurate records of internal training sessions, assessments, and certifications.
• Generate regular reports to track operator progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about updates in forklift technology, safety standards, and instructional methodologies.
• Work closely with operational teams to understand specific challenges and requirements
• To work with the Factory Trainers to generate a daily / weekly training plan to meet departmental targets and KPI’s.
• To maintain Training Matrices and any other Training Management Systems.

What you will need :

• Proven experience as an instructor or a similar role.
• Valid Instructor certification.
• In-depth knowledge of operations and safety procedures.
• Strong instructional and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt training methods to accommodate various learning styles.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards within the organization.
