We are currently seeking a Die Room Manufacturing Scheduler to support our Die Room operations. This position is located at our Cudahy, WI facility.

This role involves managing the internal and external workload for Die Manufacturing, coordinating with Production, Quality, and Shipping departments.

As a Die Room Manufacturing Scheduler, you will utilize advanced production management concepts to ensure a smooth flow of production to meet dynamic customer demands.

This position involves supporting the business through supply chain activities, inventory analysis, and process creation.

You will be responsible for creating daily and weekly schedules considering asset capacity, resource assignments, inventory availability, and demand priority.

The Die Room Manufacturing Scheduler will report to the Senior Leader in our Die Room.

Essential Responsibilities :

  • Develop and maintain effective shop floor schedules, set priorities, track product status, and deliver timely information to engineering, operations, quality, and purchasing.
  • Monitor material flow and identify bottlenecks in the process; troubleshoot issues to the root cause and implement corrective actions.
  • Generate current and future capacity models for assigned areas based on business forecasts, staffing, and equipment; recommend improvements to optimize production capabilities.
  • Utilize manufacturing data and reports to drive key insights into efficiency, utilization, production rate, and other performance metrics.

Basic Qualifications :

  • An associate degree or relevant experience.
  • 2 years of production planning and scheduling experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to Basic Qualifications) :

  • 2+ years of experience with ERP systems.
  • 2+ years of experience with capacity planning in a manufacturing environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, external customers, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Effective at identifying areas for continuous improvement and implementing lean concepts to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
